Paul, a Hurricane Sandy survivor, was facing foreclosure. After the storm, mold infested his home and fixing it took an extended time. Paul was unable to afford to repair his unlivable home while also paying rent on temporary accommodations. He fell behind on his mortgage and was facing foreclosure.
